i have a few questions about the worlds largest disco... 1) how is the sound? is the quality of the sound limited due to the size of the event? 2) does the dj spin original vinyl 12's or cd's? or both? 3)is their playlist mostly mainstream artists? do they make an attempt at spinning some underground labels? 4)are their any pictures available either offline or online of the original 1979 event? video footage?

one last set of questions. why do they limit the amount of tickets sold every year? they could easily double the attendance if they wanted to. they should move it to a larger convention center or arena. why not just go ahead and beak the record of the number of people who originally attended? in my opinion records are made to be broken. the 25th anniversary would definitely be the best year to do it. any thoughts?

I dunno. 13,000 people, while it's a lot, doesn't exactly seem record breaking any more. I'm sure there are countless parties that have higher attendances than that these days. The arena in that pic doesn't look all that vast.

Wow this place is HUGE! It reminds me of Roseland, which on a good night can be filled to a capacity of over 10,000 people. Does anyone know which discotheque was the smallest, had the most elaborate interior design, the worst/best sound or had the oddest transformations for example (the "new" Limelight was formerly a church). *DISCO-DIVINE*
