I would like to know if anyone knows, if the Cerrone track "Striptease" from 1978 was released in the US on vinyl. It is recently reedited and mixed in the Bob Sinclar Cerrone CD. All I've seen is that this track is on some forgin movie soundtrack by Cerrone. Does anyone know a record other than this it was on? I really want to find a copy of it without going through the hell of trying to track down this mega mega rare movie soundtrack.

oh yeah! BRIGADE MONDAIN!
fantastic record, its got the original GIVE ME LOVE on it! Thats realy one of my all time party classics.
My dad had this record for a long time, but i had never listened to it (well neither did he the last 10 years) untill i went to a party in brussel 3 to 4 years ago for the start-up of the Orange mobile network in belgium. At that party they had Dimitri de Paris when he was still unknown to the big public, and he played the GIVE ME LOVE tune 2 times that night! The support dj then was the even less know: Chriss the french Kiss a.k.a Bob Sinclar. That was realy a legendary party for me, together with the first 3 Respect parties at the Fuse-club.
Especially the one where Salome the Bahia was doing a live performance!
Anyway, back to the subject. I discovered the record in my dads collection some days after that party and was completely thrilled with it! It hasn't left my DJ box eversince!

I don't think it's on "Vice Squad" (not according to the cerrone web site track listing). It's on another movie soudtrack that has the same actress and also "Don't Give A Damn". I guess I'll find out cause I just won the Vice Squad LP off ebay. I thought that 'Phonic" was "Striptease", however a track listing at the Cerrone web site called "Striptease" "Phonic" on the Bob Sinclar disc. So, I thought this track was "Phonic" until I heard the real Phonic at the 5am Ago site. Also, on the Bob Sinclar smpler record this song is called striptease as well. I am confused????? I'll find out if striptease is on "Vice Squad" when I get it. I hope you guys are right and the Cerrone site has a wrong track listing.

By the way, I almost forgot. FYI/ The song I am wanting that has been called "Phonic" and "Striptease" is the first thing you hear when you log on to the malligator web site at http://www.malligator.com so check that out and tell me if this song is on the 'Vice Squad" LP.

yo Jimmy M,
this is the tracklisting on my copy of VICE SQUAD:

A-side:
Give me love
Phonic
Cloe
Deauville
Experience
B-side:
generique (debut)
Make up
generique (fin)
the loft
STRIP-TEASE

but don't forget, this is film music, don't expect real long vocal track disco songs on it (exept for give me love)
The sounds on the album have been madly sampled by different artist 'tough.
I think that the Experience track has been sample for one of the tracks on the AFRICANISM label

thats it! enjoy the record when ya get it.
