After Butterfly Records closed down, McGilpin moved to Casablanca Records in 1980 and released a ho-hum single called "Chain Reaction."

I thought I had already put this in the Vault, but I'll have to add it soon along with a label scan.

Thanx Bernie. He didn't have much luck with record labels did he? It seems that every time he moved to one it closed down!

Another week
another playlist
another mix of feelings mixes decades and styles.

(no particular order)

Cheryl Lynn - Fidelity
- it may be ripping off her own "Encore" but I stil Love It

High Inergy - Shoulda Gone Dancin'
- only just recently discovered this 1979 great disco cut

Gianluca Pighi - Trumpheeta
- Quality jazz house that (for once) doesn't rely on well known samples)

Justin Timberlake - My Senorita
- well it's a playlist, right....I play this song and like it too

Patice Rushan - Never Gonna Give You Up
- never made it as far as "Forgets Me Nots" but still worth listening to!

MFSB - Mysteries Of The World
- Just bought the album and it's the best track on there :)

The Whispers - Imagination
- Why this wasn't as big as "And The Beat Goes On" I still fail to understand

Aaron Ross Presents Rain People Featuring Marcus Begg - Trippin' On Love
- more soulful and sample free house for the new year

Spinners - I'm Coming Home
- always a fav!

Interesting. Are you hitting the "quote" button and then typing your message under it once the screen opens up? Tell me/Bernie what's exactly going on.

Nicky
Strange, but the forum sometimes has a mind of its own. Every once in a while it likes to act up.
This time I only clicked on "Quote" above your post Bernie.
Is this going going to work?

Let's pray with me

Com King, try just typing a message after the last quote... that is what I did right here.

ComKing: Tamiko Kones - Let It Flow.......mmmmm, nice. I love that record's feel and groove. The only minor downer I have on it is that it's such an obvious cut 'n' paste stretch job. Although the synth solo is great, it wanes a little with the repeats.
