Have you ever been to a party where the dj only plays STEVIE WONDER songs all night long?!!



Well i've done that! last week (friday 5th april) we visited a friend in Amsterdam and he'd arranged us tickets for the 'Stevie Wonder Special' party in the PARADISO club. One of the best concerthall/clubs i know.

TSo that night there was a CD-releaseparty of the mix album by dj Spinna & Bobitto, called: WONDER WROTE IT 2.

On the CD they mix only Stevie Wonder songs

, and that is what they were also doing at this party and it was amasing! really, i had one of the best party experiences in years, and i've been to many great parties. The vibe in the room was incredible, everybody was shaking his most funky moves, and when some of the greatest hits were played the hole crowd was singing along! WHOAW!

In the mix there were Stevies greatest hits such as lalala, living for the city, as, another star, too high,.. ; but also rare tracks, remixes and rare covers.

I've heard funky Stevie grooves that i had never heard of before, fantastic latin-salsa cover,.. At one moment they were showing videofootage of that 70's SOUL TRAIN tv show and it inspired us to form a path between the crowd on wich everybody was showing his most funky moves!



It was just unbelievable that i was dancin 5 hours long on nothin'but Stevie!

It convinced my once again that he is one of the greatest musicians of all time.

As you can read i had a great time!



(oh, and also the herbs in amsterdam were great!)

Sounds just like heaven to me.

Played lots of Stevie album tracks back in the day. Everything you mentioned plus cuts like, "Ordinary Pain", "Jesus Children of America", "That Girl", "Race Babbling", "Love Havin' You Around", "As",

"Heaven Is Ten Zillion Light Years Away", "Black Man", "All I Do", "As If You Read My Mind" and "Cash In Your Face".
