| Silly Love Songs-Paul McCartney.I liked the the bass line and horn arrangements in this sweet syrupy disco offering from Le Beatle.

| Oh, this is scarey. OK -- here we go. Boy-bands first  : "Everybody (Backstreet's Back) - Backstreet Boys "I Want You Back" - N'Sync Over-stylized soul: "Sittin' On The Dock of The Bay" - Michael Bolton Wheezy-Listening: "Ebudae" - Enya (I actually called CBS the next day after this aired on Northern Exposure. Somewhere deep down I knew it was Celtic even though they were using it as background for a North American Indian tribal scene. :o ) Pure schmaltz: Every Carpenter's album released between 1969 and 1973. (Yes, The Carpenters  . I think they call this an OGT --- Obvious Gay Trait :D :P ) |

| In my record collection, I have "I Think I Love You" by The Partridge Family. Oh and I also have "Over My Head" by Toni Basil. That one drew a lot of praise the last time I mentioned it. |

I was with you until I saw Patti Drew's name on the list! 'Tell Him' is nothing to be ashamed of! It's top of the line, late 60's Soul. A fine record! |

| Speaking of OGT albums... I don't normally care for divas, but I absolutely love Shirley Bassey's "I Capricorn" LP, particularly her rendition of "The Way A Woman Loves". Total drag queen fodder. I'm not all that embarrassed to admit it though... it's certainly nowhere near as embarrassing as Bread! |

Well here's some tunes I'm embarrassed to admit I like: System Of A Down - Pogo Stick (My youngest brother plays a lot of System and I thought this song was rather funny when they yell "JUMP POGOPOGOPOGO!!! BOUNCE POGOPOGOPOGO!!!", I can just imagine the video clip being like some bloke with beard and long black hair dressed in black jumping up and down on a pogo stick really fast) DJ Otzi - Hey Baby (I use to hear this song all the time for weeks on end everytime I go to the local gym and find this song really funny particularly in the part where they go "HOO....HAA", I can imagine in the clip the "HOO...HAA" bit being a bunch of blokes bench pressing weights going "HOO" when they push the weights up and "HAA" when they bring the weights down) Scooter - Faster, Harder, Scooter (My other brother loves playing techno and I thought this song was not bad plus pretty funny as I can imagine them on scooters. I wrote a parody of this song called "Riding Faster, Pushing Harder, On Our Scooters" for a bit of fun) Jump'n'Saddle Band - The Curly Shuffle (The first time I heard this song was when playing a vintage videotape which had a 1984 sports show featuring WWF wresting and they had some segment where they played "The Curly Shuffle" while showing funny wrestling moments and thought this song was piss funny so I downloaded it) Black Lace - Agadoo (This sounds like a bloody kid's song!!! Yet it has a great salsa disco feel and the clip is really funny to watch as the band members are dressed in fruit costumes while playing) Two Man Band - Up There Cazaly (This was an Australian AFL footy theme song used on Channel 7 back in the 70s which so many footy fans loved the song it was released on record and made the top 10 on the Australian charts back in 1979. I'm not into watchin footy on TV but I like this song as for some reason to me it shows Aussie patriotism, "UP THERE CAZALY... IN THERE AND FIGHT... UP THERE AND AT'EM... SHOW THEM YOUR MIGHT!!!") Mojo Band - Come On Aussie Come On (This song is a cricket theme song which was a hit just before "Up There Cazaly". I'm no fan of cricket nor Richie Benaud but like this song too for the same reasons as I like "Up There Cazaly", "COME ON AUSSIE COME ON, COME ON... COME ON AUSSIE COME!!!") Rolf Harris - Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport (When I was in primary school we had to sing a bunch of classic Australian songs and this one was a popular choice. I can't help finding this song really funny especially Rolf's nasal Aussie accent and his wobble board wobbling. Loved how the UK comedy "The Goodies" took the piss out Rolf in a few episodes particularly "Scatty Safari") Ozark Mountain Daredevils - Jackie Blue (This is a country band!!! Nonetheless I heard this song on radio on some 70s program and liked it) Captain & Tenille - Love Will Keep Us Together (I'm sure many here probably hate this song but I enjoy this song) Denis Leary - I'm An Asshole (A bloke who thinks the American dream is to be an arsehole hehehe. Anyhow I thought this song was really funny especially the bit where he sings "I use public toilets and I piss on the seat"   ) PHD - I Won't Let You Down (God knows how many people here hate this song, but I rather enjoyed it  though the music video for it looked rather silly) Bill Wyman - Je Suis Un Rock Star (Bill dated a 13 year old in the early 80's and married her when she was 19!!! Fortunately he did this song before he dated a 13 year old as the song is about him going out with a young lady [over 18 I assume]. Anyhow regardless of the shit above I thought this was a great early 80s synth disco song with a touch of France to it and for some reason I dig the suit Bill was wearing in the clip as it would go well with a French disco when dancing to "Moskow Disco" by Telex) Patrick Hernandez - Born To Be Alive (I'm embarrassed to admit I like this song because most of the people on this board love to hate it. But nonetheless I dig this song even though radio stations belt the living shit out of it) The Wurzels - I Am A Cider Drinker (This was a funny UK parody of George Baker Selection's "Una Paloma Blanca") The Wurzels - Combine Harvester (Another funny parody this time of Melanie's dreaded "Brand New Key" song) Kermit The Frog - Rainbow Connection (I'm REALLY embarrassed    to admit I like this song, I thought it was rather nice) John Travolta - Greased Lightning (This was my favourite song of the Grease pack) Those are a number of songs I can think of off the top of my head. _______________________________________________ AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!!!!! OI OI OI!!!!! :D :D :D
