Michael's been a 'freak' for a long time, never stopped me before. But, being freakish and being labeled a pedophile are miles apart. I'd have to wait and see what happens. Either way, a sad state of affairs for a troubled musical genius.

I still play the MJ that I have always liked.

Very Very sad that a man of such incredible talents has descended to such depths. However, all of those around him, including the record companies, who have been whoring themselves for the money they can get out of him are almost as responsible as he is for helping cover up his sick, criminal behavior so that they could continue to cash those pay checks.

Any parent that allows their child to attend "sleepovers" at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch is just as culpable as Jackson and should be prosecuted also. How dumb do you have to be? Don't say you haven't known this shit for 10 or more years. Puh-leeeeeze.

Hi Mixtape,

your question is excelent. I believe MICHAEL JACKSON's criminal behavior will cast a shadow over his entire career. Lots of people I know tend to separate his career with the J5 and his solo career, just to save some good memories and to listen to J5 songs without feelin' guilty about it.

It is a shame that a guy like this can do WHATEVER he wants without being prosecuted, but I think there will be no escape for him now. For a MOTOWN fan like me, this whole episode is embarassing and sad, but if he really commited a crime, he oughta pay for it. Maybe a time behind bars will bring Jacko back to reality...

MARKY is absolutely right, how can a father or a mother allow his kid to hang around with Jacko? And all those people of his entourage, his celebrity friends and his family, nobody could have told him that he was doin' wrong?

I can understand the feelings of everyone who prefers not to play JACKO's records these days, I'm feeling just the same.

Let's see what happens. I believe this will be another midia circus like the OJ SIMPSON trial, oh GOD...

Peace,

zeca azevedo, who's really bad???

I still play his records (pre Off The Wall) and NO I have nothing to be embarrased of. Micheal will never been the MEGA pop star that he was in the 80's, his career is fucked up for eternity. Cheating and lying on your taxes is one thing but DAMN child molestation :o is disgusting!! Once he was charged the first time with this crime, that was a wake-up call to prohibit any children from sleeping over at the Neverland ranch - they can come over during the day WITH THEIR PARENTS and by sundown , get the hell out!. I guess the skin bleaching impaired his judgment because he didn't see the pirates digging for his gold.

*DELIGHTFUL*

Well I've only just heard this morning on NineMSN that Whacko Jacko has got paedophile charges pending against him and I can easily say I'm extremely disappointed in him. Though as I don't know the full facts of the cases I don't know how much truth there is in these convictions. I have read about the case 10 years back and many people believe he was innocent and I tried to believe he was innocent though I'm really suss about the enormous out of court settlement payout which makes me wonder if he was doing it to protect his reputation? I don't know whether to believe he is innocent or guilty yet as I don't know the hard facts but once Whacko Jacko gets convicted in court with hard evidence and gets thrown into the cooler then I'll believe he's guilty. Still I've got a really bad feeling he is guilty.

To be honest I will still play his material from the 60s up to 1982 but anything after the 1990s no. Basically his mid/late 80s "I'm bad", "I'm commercial", "I'm a sellout" image doesn't really do much for me so I don't really listen to his post-1982 stuff.

I remember someone here said a year or two back that Michael Jackson died 10 years ago, well that's how I feel about him. Eversince he turned white and got that hideous nosejob done and girlish look, he has totally changed into something bad.

Anyhow I'm pissed off with his behaviour in the last 10 years and don't really believe he is Michael anymore. He's just getting worse and worse. God knows what's gonna become of him when he hits 70.

Beein a great fan of MJ, It really hurts when I see him today.

But, basically, any children that sleep in Neverland, and there are many, could charge him. Last time, the kid (parents) gathered millions of dollars.

Is this really impossible that this time nothing happened (again?)?. And what other solution for Michael that to pay and avoid a trial.

Besides this fact, Billi Jean still has the greatest bass-line ever, and Off the Wall and Thriller are still two of my all-time favourite LPs.

I'm far from beein heartless, but IMHO music has nothing to do with news.

"I like to share my bed with the boys around here,
Don't wanna see your mom, she better disappear.
The pants are coming off and the bed is drawing near,
So BEAT IT, Just BEAT IT"

OOH!

This picture is terrible.

He must have been traumatized to do that to himself.
He doesn't inspire hate but pity.

Now what!

with everything happening 10 years ago, they should have done something about it then.

I realize we all fuck up... but gees, this is unforgivable to be swept under the table. They might make an example out of him this time... Even if you are a pop star, you are not above the law.

Regardless of the outcome, doesn't mean I'm gonna hate his songs, or not play them anymore. I don't play many of them to begin with... :P

stay tuned.... maybe i'll change my mind.

Even though I found the 'Beat It' pastiche amusing, I do feel sorry for Jackson. He is in a position that will always make him fair game, even if he hasn't been guilty of what he's being accused of.

It's not natural for a man of his age to have children sharing his bedroom, however enchanted they may be with him. And while his admissions along this line were honorable for honesty's sake, alarm bells should have rung in every parents' head. Why did these people (potentially) put their own children at risk?

In the UK, a 90-minute special about tracking Jackson down (yet failling and interviewing his crook of a father and Yuri Geller instead) was shown on Sunday. Another new documentary was pulled from the TV schedule of Tuesday, when the news broke. Jackson has a new LP out and these allegations have been made 'right on time'.

If Jackson has been molesting kids, he will - and rightly so - be in serious trouble. But as an entertainer and an artist, he's a real one-of-a-kind and I sincerely hope his alleged misdemeanours are the concoctions of vindictive, greedy parents, rather than the actions of MJ himself.

Hell, even if he is guilty, that can't take away the musical pleasure he's given over the years. And I certainly won't disown any Micheal Jackson records.
