| According to Joel Whitburn from Billboard... "For their next album, The Ritchie Family's Cheryl Mason Jacks, Cassandra Ann Wooten and Gwendolyn Oliver wanted to record a tribute to black woman. However, producer Jacques Morali thought the idea was too difficult to express lyrically, suggesting instead a concept album saluting historically famous queens of the Dark Continent, such as Neferititi, Cleopatra and the Queen of Sheba". :P |
