Is this the Valpucci remix? If so, you've got yourself a collectable... the remixes aren't on the reissue CD, and from what I understand, contain much less of the dreadful OTT vocals.

Unfortunately not but at least it's a part of disco history that I do now have for better or worse.

Agree !This one is rather jaundiced as a serious disco tune.

Both Bombers LPs (and 12s) were on Telson in Canada. West End licensed the second LP for the USA.

While we're on the subject of the Bombers Canadian LPs, who's name is it that is covered up with a yellow bar on the background vocal credits on the first Telson LP.? I always have wondered if this was the missing connection to Supermax :-?

Dunno, I only have the Unidisc CD (one of their few releases that sounds decent).

I have Bombers 2 on 8-track...

Aw Graham, don't go 8-track on me. Knowing you, you've managed to get 24 bit digital out of it :-)

Nope... 8-tracks are hopeless. No HF response, bleed-through from other tracks, lots of flutter, dropouts, and noise...

...and then there are the songs that get faded out and back in between tracks...

The Unidisc release of Bombers 2 has a few bonus tracks, including a lacklustre 80s remix of "Everybody Get Dancin'". My only gripe is that they didn't include "Music Fever", which was the b-side on one of the 7" singles (and on a 12" single in the UK).

Thanks! Was always wondering who was taken out. Thought this might be the connection between Pat DeSario and Supermax / Supercharge, but alas it isn't.
