Hello to everyone:

Do you remember the first Ritchie Family LP? It is Brazil...

Can you tell me which songs are in this LP and their length ? Also can you tell me the order and the side (A/B) in which they appear in this LP?

Thanks.

I don't have the album on front of me, but I remember 3 of their songs: Brazil, Peanut Vendor(a remake of an old Cuban song), and Frenesi. I don't remember the rest of the songs or which side they were on.

Note that the Able catalog number is for the Canadian release. The original US pressing is on 20th Century records, T-498. Excellent mastering on this one.

A promo 12" exists of two different remixes of "Dance With Me" titled "I Want To Dance With You". This is rather rare... easier to find is the promo 7" on Able, but obviously the sound quality suffers on that release.

Not really... it's just a different mix, but it's clearly the same song. There's a weird ping-pong delay on the vocal, and some other changes as well. One version is extended, the other is an edit.

Graham, isn't that a bit of an understatement... ? That long mix is a toe-tingling orchestral masterpiece, a blissed-out odyssey into technicolor discoland!
