hello everyone
i just joined and thought i would introduce myself, i am michael and live in florida, i used to live in birmingham UK, but the weathers better here.
when i was in birmingham i used to be a light jock(i so hate that title)at the nightingale club, those who ever went there will remeber tony divit and ruby(Sadly both have passed), i also worked at the powerhouse as the main light jock(i so ha....oh yeah i already said that:oops: ), anyone who went there on a thursday night will remember carl and john, anyway just wanted to say hello.

I agree with you 100%... Dana was amazing, a real talent, way ahead of his time. I recall after hours parties at his apt., looking back I had no idea I was hobnobbing with on of the greatest Djs of all time.

Great memories.

I wonder if we know each other?

What an honor to have you here. Please make yourself at home and feel free to share your stories with us. Record producer, Ray Martinez of Florida knew your son Richie so I'm sure he'll see this and post as well.

Tito Puente was a legend and one that so many were proud of. Still play Dance Mania whenever I get a chance. I still remember seeing his grand-daughter Audrey Puente doing the weather on NBC4 in New York.
