I grew up listen to disco at family parties and get togethers in the 70's. As soon as I was able to go to the Discos/Clubs in the early 80's I would be there almost every weekend. I enjoyed all those years of going to clubs and meeting all the beautiful women and made good friends. I have just found all of these web sites like this one and have gotten a lot of the music that I used to listen in those days. I specially liked the early 80's hinrg music (partick cowley, lisa, bobby o, lime, flirts, etc.).

I will be in this site and asking questions about music that I have in my head and yet to get.

hope to get replies.

thanks in advanced

What's up yall-

I've been reading a few threads the last two days and really like the level of discussion and knowledge of posters here- had to register and be a part of it.

I've been into disco for about 5 or so years, and only seem to get more and more enjoyment from it. Hope to be a valuable asset here.

-Jacob

Good day all, my name is Tom and i'm from Australia.
I am 43 yrs old, my love for disco music began back in the late 70's
my brother is 3 yrs older and he used buy a few records here and there
and he got the opportunity to DJ at the local disco and i have been into it
since. I have many favourites too many to name at once, but i will get around to it one day. There are a few songs i am unable to get my hands
on that i have been listening to via the radio guide on the net. the genre
is disco studio 54, i would like to download some songs from that website or other sites.
Anyway it is nice to be on board.
Cheers all.

Hi I look forward to the discussions and topics here, I'm 24, from Arizona. I love dance music of all kinds from different eras, and I like to follow and grow with the artists and bands throughout the years, buying their new albums whenever they come out. My favorite singer is miss Jody Watley. Both in Shalamar and as Solo artist she's great. Very creative and stays true to herself. Not only for her singing but she's also a positive role model and seems like a wonderful lady. She's got it goin on!

There are so many other great dance artists I like too like Evelyn King, Gwen Guthrie (RIP!), and Carrie Lucas to name a few more I'm really into....

Hi everybody. I found this site while I was looking for information about the song Tender Lovin' bY Funk Deluxe. I didn't actually get the info I wanted(the details of the b-side) but I liked what I read so much that I wanted to join all of you here. I love club and party music; classic 70s disco, garage, house, electro, hip hop, Motown, R&B etc. My favourite period is 1977-1987 approximately. I'm an 80s lover.

As you can see from my signature and avatar my favourite club music track is Heartbeat by Taana Gardner and I'm a big fan of Larry Levan's mixes and also producers like Darryl Payne, Arthur Russell, Leroy Burgess and Greg Carmichael. Look forward to reading and posting when I get the inspiration.
Cheers!

Hi everyone, I'm new to the board, I'm from Switzerland, I'm a music lover since my teens, I love jazz-funk-boogie-underground house-rock and of course last but not least DISCO. I'm a vinyl record collector and (very) amateur dj, I've been lurking here for a few months, now it's time for me to step up.
Much love
C.
