Everyone,

Please reserve this thread for new members to introduce themselves only. Let's avoid getting into deep discussions here or answering questions as it will just get lost here. Do not post for help here. Please start a new topic/thread for anything else such as song ID requests. Thanks.

Hello everyone,
To be honest, I became a member ~2 years ago but never posted. I finally remembered about this site and decided to post my first post. I've never been a DJ, other than a bedroom one, but I've been an avid collector of music in general for around 2 decades now. For the past 6/7 years my musical interests genre-wise have leaned more towards Disco than anything else. Perusing through some of the posts, I see that there are many knowledgeable people. I hope to learn and contribute if I'm able. Thanks for the site!!

VSL

Default What's up party people

My name is Jose and I'm new to this site. I've been looking for an old breakbeat mix that sampled "Heaven and hell is on earth" by the 20th Century Steel band. I asked a DJ, and he said it was called children cry. Help me out, let me know if I got bum scoop. Let me know the real deal. Thanks, Jose.

Hello all. I am new here. Just want to say hello! Been a long-time disco fan since the mid-70s. I was recently able to pick up an Italian import CD box set of Jacques Fred Petrus, which includes the full albums of Peter Jacques Band, Revanche, Macho, etc... so I am as happy as a clam! Worth every darn penny, too!

Bernie: I've been having the hardest time getting into the other section of your site. Been there before, but the db doesn't even recognize me.

Smile Hello to all members...new here!

Hello everyone, I am new here and just trying to make my way around.
I would never have found this site if I had not run upon someone who said they could get Maysa Leak email so that I could write to her. I am a real
fan of her music and now that my life is spent confine to a wheelchair,
her music has been so inspiring to me. I love her music and was shocked to see that many people never heard of her. At any rate, I would love to be able to email Maysa to thank her for the many hours of wonderful music.
When one is locked within their body and confine to a life of having others
do the things we once thought nothing of, it gives a different meaning to one's life. Thank goodness, I still have my hearing and can type..slowly.

Thanks for reading this and do if anyone can..allow me to email Maysa!
Take care all...Dana, signing off for now

Default hello

Thought I would introduce myself as the site asked me to, I am really sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place.
I am Laura 27 from Liverpool, a vinyl junkie with eclectic tastes(someones soul has to have gone into it or/and it makes me dance like a fool). I look forward to chatting to you all.
take care
xx
