Default Disco Kings and Queens

Are there any former Disco Kings and Queens living in Massachusetts and Rhode Island between Boston, Providence and Worcester (and youngsters as well) who would Boogie again if there were a venue available?

Please respond if you're interested.

I don't go out as much as I used to. Boston plays some oldies in the gay bars. Chaps/Vapor used to play them on Tuesdays. But oldies now a days consists of everything from maybe the mid 70's up to the late 90's or newer. Providence and Worcester can be fun as well. What city/town do you live in?

I've often thought about DJ-ing and bringing back all those oldies, to see if over a period of time how it would effect the clientel.

I live in Sutton; south of Worcester.

The missus and I still go out on a regular basis to a club in Worcester that caters to an "older" crowd.
Still dance Hustle after all these years!
We may be exploring a couple of other Mass. and RI venues.

Just find it hard to believe with the popularity of Disco in this area back in the day that there are very few people of our generation who still go out and boggie! The oldies that are played are well received so it seems to me that people are receptive to the classics and it would be very nice if more people of our generation did go out.

Do we all stay home and fall asleep in front of the TeeVee every Saturday night? My wife and I fight that as much as we can. And going out helps keep us young! We enjoy the music as much today as then, though 50 year old joints do hurt occasionally!
