Whoa! Get Dancin' - Disco Tex and the Sex-O- Lettes was one of my all time favorite 45 RPM's.

"Get Dancin" is not forgotton. I am 26 years old and heard this at the retro club I used to go to. Sorry, but I don't like this track. It's Monty Rock3 from "Saturday Night Fever" fame having a spazz attack, comical, but, you'll never see me popping this one on unless I was spinning at a club and it was requested(yes, I do own it).

Van McCoy did a fantastic version of "Get Dancin'" in 1975 on the Disco Baby album. I love those funky synthesizer wah wah sounds. I'm close to rating this version higher than Disco Tex's version but Disco Tex's version goes for about 7 or 8 minutes.

Speaking of Disco Tex & The Sex-o-lettes, have you's checked out "Hot Lava", it's a fantastic track.
