Default Five Alive!!!!!

Okay here's 5 for ya - it's probably tooooooo easy for all you guys out there but - Here we Go Songs & Artists please

1. ain't nobody crying,
ain't nobody worried,
ain't no smiling faces
flying to the races

2. Some times i feel like there's no use in trying
Why can't i face the fact we've lost what we'll never get back
I don't know where, where we went wrong
I say i'm leaving but my feelings are too strong

3. I know she's gonna be suprised
Phew this key keeps getting stuck in the lock
Oh no she's changed the lock on the door

4. These are the eyes that never knew how to smile til you came into my life
And these are the arms that long to lock you inside every day and every night
Girl, and hear is the soul of which you,ve taken control

5. Housewifes of the USA washing and cooking and cleaning all day
When your man comes home all your love is met or is he asleep in front of the TV set

I'll give you some more Lyrics from number 3.

The previous ones were from the intro bit

I may not be the man that i wanna to be
but i'm sure not not the man that i used to be
you see i changed my ways, turned my life around

Hope that helps :D

Spot on K-Bee :D
I nearly included that lyrical bit in the clue

anyway only number 5 to go - here's a bit more

5. Housewifes of the USA washing and cooking and cleaning all day
When your man comes home all your love is met or is he asleep in front of the TV set
and i just want to know, c'mon tell me now
and i just want to know, i don't want to be nosy but
i just want to know, **** **** **** ****

If you get the missing bit thats the title
Go for it!!!!!!

Good game, Stan. One small change:

Ain't no smiling faces
LYING to the races

I always took these lyrics as the Staple Singers salute to Motown's "Smiling Faces" by Undisputed Truth.

Stan: Lee Eldred - How's Your Love Life is record I'd love to get my hands on. My copy's gone AWOL.
Must say that after 25 years without a spin, I'd completely forgotten the lyrics, but in my sub conscious mind I had the feeling I knew it. Almost reminded me of the intro to Get Up Offa That Thing by Screamin' Tony Baxter, but I knew it wasn't that.
Lee Eldred - What a BRILLIANT record......that to all intents and purposes went nowhere really. Ditto Tony Baxter.

When's a compilation going to come out with Lee Eldred and other tracks like Leon Lee - He Was A Man, (Rock On) Dance On - Tony Gregory, Bus Stop - Oliver Sain, Mr. Penguin - Lunar Funk, Soul Makossa - Afrique and a load more. A few there from Contempo records, a label that appears to have been somewhat ignored by many. O.K. they were only licensed, but they licensed some totally brilliant records that kept the dancefloors full to bursting in the early days.

Totally agree Quinny. How's Your Love Life is a favourite of mine .I only have a 7 " version Part 1 and Part 2.I assume there was a 12" version. Also Bus Stop by Oliver Sain should be listed as an example of funk in the dictionary along with Gimme Some More by the JB's.This was serious music to get a groove going on the dancefloor
