Default Bombers: Canadian or Australian group ?

Hello everybody,

Just a doubt: Bombers were a Canadian or Australian group? I believe Canadian...

Formed in Australia !

The Bombers were a late-'70s funk group who scored an R&B singles chart entry in 1979 with "(Everybody) Get Dancin'."

Unfortunately I don't remember any appearance of this group in TV... Any ideas if did they appear in TV ?
Any available clips of them ?

Marco, they are from Canada....

On West End Records... they did hit the R&B American Charts... with one song, but I have never seen what they look like. I thought I had a compilation of them but I know for sure that they will appear on West Ends greatest hits package... You will enjoy their website also...

Weren't some main members from the Bombers also in a group called Supermax? I have a coulpe of LP's by them, which are in the main pretty shit but they do a version of "Dance Dance Dance" by the Bombers, which ain't bad. I'm sure the Bombers also did a track called Supermax too. I always thought the bombers were German or Austrian, but maybe based in Canada.

Here's the info on Supermax...
http://www.discomusic.com/records/supermax.html

There must be some connection to the Bombers and I would imagine it was a situation as with Kebekelekrik changing producers. The musicians and recording locations on Supermax are different than the Bombers.

To make matters more complicated I have a 12" from a group called Supercharge with a song called "I Think I'm Going To Fall (In Love)" which is Bob-a-rela's "Why Does it Rain" with different words produced by RJ Lange (I presume a German). It's possible that producers George Lagios and Pat Desario had relationships with other producers/writers to share material.

More info greatly appreciated.
