Default Sesso Matto

I recently found a copy of this Italian track on a white label West End 12" at 10mins 30secs for £6. I remember reading in Jussi's book that this is one of the most sought-after 12" disco tracks of all-time. Does this mean I've been lucky & found a rare bargain or is this a different mix to the one Jussi/Alan talk about. Jussi, if youre out there, can you fill me in? :-? (or any one of the many experts online.)

Depends on the issue you have, Steely - I myself have 3 - a first which plays at 45 RPM, a second plating which plays at 33 1/3 (the times differ on these) and a white label promo of the re-release from a couple of years back, which has the Idjut Boys' 'Mad Sex' edit.

The 45 RPM, WES 12100-45 clocks in at a) 7:18 and b) 9:55.

This really is a fantastic track!
I have an official "Limited Edition" West-End re-release from 2001 with "the original 1976 Jim Stuard disco mix" (as quoted on the 12") and it clocks in at 10 minutes straight!
The B-side features the Version Idjut (7:57) and the Idjut Boys Re-edit (6:37)
Got it for only 4 euro's, at a recordshop sale

I like the original version more than the Idjut remix. (although that I am a big Idjut Boys fan. I never miss 'em when they come 2 belgium)

Thanx guyz. Looks like I have the white label of the 2001 re-issue. I didn't realise it had been re-issued in recent years; that means it can't be that rare now I s'pose.
