| What is the Troc location used for today? Is it still a dance club or is it used for something else? I have a book called Tribal Rites that talks about the S.F. club scene of the late 70's-early 80's and mentions The Troc, Dreamland, etc. |

| Wow, another person who has the "Tribal Rites" book! (Unfortunately, now out of print). I pulled this book out after I found this site and found it fascinating to read. As Joni Mitchell once wrote: "Don't it always seem to go/that you don't know what you got til it's gone". I wish I'd paid more attention to what was happening at the time, but I was too consumed by 'my life" to realize that that was a special period that would disappear forever. Twenty years later, I'm clamoring for any info and insights and relics of the music, dj's, etc. There is a short film about the Troc experience called "Wrecked For Life" in which those who are still among the living (or were at the time of filming)--reminisce about the Troc experience. Strangely, Bobby Viteritti is NOT interviewed, although he did attend the world premiere. Now why they didn't interview the chief architect of the whole "magic" of Troc, I don't understand. Maybe he didn't want to participate. As for the what's currently occupying the Troc space, I'm not sure. Sounds like a question for Keefe, who had today off, but should be back tomorrow.

| I'm back! Somebody told me just a few weeks ago that Troc's latest incarnation was a supper club (??!) that quickly went out of business. I'll have to drive by one of these days. |

| Hi All: Here's a neat little website on San Francisco in the 70s. http://www.planetsoma.com/sf1970/bars/others.html |

| For more information on Trocadero, Bobby Viteritti and sound clips of his mixes, check out this link: http://www.hyperactivemedia.com/5am/ I would be curious to hear from folks who check out this site. There's also info on Paradise Gargage & The Saint & Larry Levan, etc. Let me know what you think. OK? Also, there is a source for Trocadero tapes that have been transferred to CD. Let me know if you'd be interested in obtaining cd's (usually 4 cd's to a party set priced at $20.00 per cd). More info to follow as soon as I get the OK.

| To find out about the Bobby Viteritti at Trocadero Transfer CD sets, you can send an Email to Ron requesting a set list at "thetroccds@aol.com". For those of you lucky enough to have experienced those years, be prepared to go down memory lane. For those of you wondering what Marky and I have been screaming about, here's your chance! |
