I wonder what happened to Cashbox magazine. It just faded out somewhere in the 80's. I guess it was the other alternative to the omnipresent Billboard.

I too noticed Cashbox disappearing. I assumed they went out of business, but I have seen recent books of compilation charts that date into the mid-1990's.
