| They had at least 3 LP albums: * Turn on to Love (Prelude, 1976) * City Girls (Pye, 1977) * Get that Mojo Workin' (Atlantic, 1980) Jumbo's disco songs include: * "China-Na" (1976) * "Let's Dance (Dance, Dance, Dance)" (1976) * "Saturday" (1976) * "Turn On To Love" (1976) * "City Girl" (1977) * "He Stole My Heart" (1977) * "I Can't Get Over You" - electro-disco (1977) * "Rio" (1979) * "Trinidad" (1981) * "Dancing" (I don't know the year) When you have questions like this you can go to Google or Alltheweb and search "Disco Savvy" in quotes, followed by the artist name, and you can usually find your answers. |

| Ok "Rio" was 81 wasnt it? And I thought there were 4 LPs. I only hunted down the first 2 (which Turn On To Love has 4 different pressings from what I understand with diff covers) as well as I have a rare track from 76 on a 45 called "Super Came". Jumbo was a very obscure group to the disco era. I myself am looking for more info as to what this final LP was. The quest continues!! DJ Jimmy M

| Hi Jimmy, Yes, "Rio" was definitely from 1979. I checked this at several sources. One good way to verify a date is at the merchants at http://discomusic.gemm.com/ since that's one of the largest record collections for sale out there. I just checked now and there are 3 merchants that list the 12" as having a release date of 1979. Also 2 merchants said the same at Musicstack.com. I think someone also told me the same date when I asked. It's from Germany. I guess their final LP was after 1980 and must have been the one with "Trinidad" then, and maybe "Sexy Thing", "Dancing", and "Take It Light" are on there too? |

| I know over in the USA all that got releases of Jumbo was "Turn On To Love" and 2 12"s, one was "He Stole My Heart" B/W City Girl and the other was "Take It Light" B/W "Sexy Thing". The LP's were not released in the USA accept the first one. I managed to get a sealed copy of "City Girls" on a Canadian import a while back. The LP with "Take It Light" and "Sexy Thing" is "Get That Mojo Workin". I was thinkin though that "Rio" has more an early 80's sound to it..odd that its 1979..could that mean there was a '79 LP too? Damn, how much did Jumbo have? I gotta find it all. DJ Jimmy M

| Hi Paulo, In Brazil, I don't know the reason why, Jumbo was edited as Jumbo 76. Maybe Jumbo made reference to a a big 70's airliner . ... |

| Actualy in Germany they were also. One of the nude LP covers for "Turn On To Love" is under Jumbo 76 as well as the LP title is different and called "Sexy Lady" but same tracks. Also, that rare 45 I got with the song "Super Came" was released in the USA on Ariola America and under the name Jumbo 76. Very intresting. DJ Jimmy M
