Below is Steve Hoare

Web Manager text .

Steve became suddenly DMC Forum censorship !

his answer -

I am not censoring any post, this simply is not the place to fight your crusade. I thought it was bad enough being spammed by you but you taking this to a public forum is not on. As I said before, I will not tolerate it, so please stop it before I am forced to report you to your ISP.

My answer to Steve -

Ofcourse Steve you're not the side of affair but you censor forum. This

forum is piece of shit if one letter is OK another you do not like is bad

and you remove it away. We put this case other web sites real forum. World

to know all anyway. This is internet and XXI century. Nobody can stop me and my firends DISCO DEEJAYS PIONEERS. Your action against me / US looks like the best times communist era censorship here in Poland. Do you remember this from the history ? Communists and their good fellows of Soviet KGB always say - "if you're not with us - you're against us".

I am sure they will soon be banning you from their website. You can tell these guys are young and could care less what happens to anyone but themselves. I am glad the real Brits stood up with the US when an injustice was done to our country. Seems like the Dj Brits are only thinking about themselves .. and their balls are very small and young. Don't expect too much out of this group .. they would love to see disco die so they can say TECHNO/HOUSE rules! Too bad they don't remember where their roots are.

Like I said in my press release: "This is not new .. the music business like to eat their young." This is a perfect example of it. Disco birthed these guys .. but they would prefer to step aside and not take a stand at all. Why should they? They pretend we never existed in the first place.

Hang in there, brother. Talk about Freedom of Speech ... HA .. It seems like if you only speak DMC language will you be able to have that freedom!

Jan ... this went out to the administrator of DMC ...

Steve

I would like to take this time to thank you for your support. It seems like when an in-justice is done to a fellow Dj there is nothing like knowing there are people like you who keeps an open mind and is not afraid to take a stand. Please let me know where you are at when you are 55 years old. I am sure there will people just like yourself who will come to your side in times like these.

Thanks again ...

Marty Angelo

YAHUDEEJ@Y,

With all due respect to you and your career please take note of the following as constructive crticism and not as an attack on you.

I can understand your anger to some extent, but you can not go around sending one of the heads of the WMC vulgar and nasty messages. I read it and it is unacceptable. No one should have to be a recipient of that type of letter. As wrong as Frank Ceraolo is about his comments on Disco, I feel you owe Mr. Ceraolo an apology.

One can make their point without losing respect. Please do not compare this to communism or anything like that. Your "off the cuff" remarks and actions do more to hurt the community than help. Please tone it down. All the best.

You call yourself a "Dance Music" website. What happened with the WMC (which is primarily of the "Dance Music" persuasion) and "Disco"... how can you not allow a person who is a "dance music" dj post information on your website forum ... that is directly "dance music" related?

Are you another one of the "dance music" djs who would like to pound another "nail" in disco's coffin?

The Music Business tried to "eat" disco's life years ago ... when they thought they were done squeezing every last dollar and ounce of blood out of it ... it moved on to other music genres ... When it is finished with your genre, brother ... Look out! You will be looking for some pals to hang around with. You will always be welcomed back home, in the arms of Disco. You can bank on it.

If you can not take a stand yourself .. you can at least allow a Forum page on your website to let folks air their views ... What difference would it make? I am sure you would learn quite a bit out of what your Djs would say or not say.

What you did was truly censorship ... in its rawest and ugliest state.

I am sure Jan is angry..to say the least..the remarks he is making are interesting ... they may not be as refined and thought out as some of the English speaking folks on this forum .. but I truly understand where he is coming from.

Using vulgar words or lashing out at people is not "new" to the dance music world. Just look how the "gangster rappers" speak about their own women!

We live in a very raw world ... and sometimes we wish people would think and believe the exact way we do .. but ... it just does not happen.

Disco came under attack .. by a company and an individual who is making a fortune off of it .. to this day.

Our fellow Dj is doing the best he can to hold up his end of the fight... even if it is not the way you or someone else may think is right.

I am not saying he couldn't pick his words a bit better ... but .. what the hell .. so could every musician or movie star out there in the world today who uses the word "fuck" every other second. Not that they all do...just "most" of them.

Hell... disco music back in the '70s could be played in church nowadays compared to how far the various "dance music" genres have taken it. So to hear a "dj" use them in defense of himself and his business doesn't surprise me.

Marty/Jan,

I am a web designer for DMC, when I received the email I didn't read it all

as I assumed it was Spam. I got it several times in one go so deleted it.

When I saw it posted to the Forums I deleted it too, as I don't tolerate

Spam or personal crusades. If you feel this is a topic that you want to

fight in public on the DMCWorld Forums then please go ahead. But I will not

take a side to this. I resent being dragged into an argument and having my

private emails aired on websites and in emails.

I feel ashamed that I did not read the original emails from Jan, and I

apologise for my ignorance. I was not censoring the post, I was merely

keeping our Forums clear of Spam, which is what I thought it was. I now know

differently and I am sorry.

Regards,

Steve,

Thank you very much for your response to my email.

I realize you must be a very busy person and like most of us..can not read every email that comes into your computer. God help us if we actually opened each one!

I do appreciate you allowing the DMC discussion forum to continue. I am sure your attempt at censoring it was not what you really had in mind in the first place.

Controversy is not comfortable. People say things and do things that sometimes do not make many people very happy. Feelings are hurt, egos are bruised, and people are almost forced to 'take sides'!

Your willingness to let this Winter Music Conference vs Disco issue continue on your website forum is an honorable move. I applaud you for it.

I know Jan's words are a bit harsh and extreme at times .. and I am not making any excuses for his behavior. He is an adult and no one is feeding him his choice of words. But I will stand shoulder to shoulder with him when a musical genre has come under attack for no other reason than its' name: "DISCO"! It is not fair that it was treated that way at the WMC this year .. and we hope we all have learned some important lessons from what happened. If Jan wants to hold people accountable for their actions ... then so be it! Who are we to stand in his way? Diplomacy may not be one of his expertises.

I will post this email on discomusic.com's forum's page Jan stated.

Again ... Jan does not speak for me. I never personally met him.. just here on the Internet. He has taken his stand and it seems like he is forcing others to do the same. It may not be very comfortable ... but such is life in the "dance music" world!

Thanks again,

Marty Angelo

This is Yahudeej@y answer for Bernard Lopez.

I could apologize Cereolo and WMC if they apologize Marty Angelo and what they did for him. In fact they hurt me all that case also.

I do not see anything wrong in my language.

Language compare to the case / how they treat Marty and pioneers like me. There is no place for diplomacy - it's hard war with assholes whose do not understand there is someone else than few of them. They start vulgar and dirty tricks against Marty and disco pioneers. My answer compare to the vulgar method they use against Marty and disco pioneers. If they change their vulgar methods then I change my vulgar words.
