| My next mix after Silvetti is gonna be a cold entry somewhere in the refrain with a careful tuning in the pitch, and a gentle blend in with the X-fader, here comes T-Connection with 'Do What You Wanna Do'! AWWWWWWW SHEEEEEEEET!!!!! NEXT!

| OK SCREAM, I was out of the Booth in the back of the club burning one!!! Remix "I Like What Your Doing To Me" to the Instrumental side, now, just near the end start "Love Come Down" from the instrumental side from the second chorus. The songs will break together and then you pull the mix. Now grab your second copy of "Love Come Down" and remix to the begining. Then quad track the phrases, phase the chorus, and double track the hook. YouTube - Evelyn "Champagne" King - Love Come Down next up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| I did this once before with 'Love Come Down', right before this song ends, count 1, 2, 3, 4, and I throw in Fonda Rae's 'Over Like A Fat Rat' from the beginning cold! Since I have two albums I'd go back 2 back beat juggling on the intro for a minute before she starts singing the 1st verse, that's when I let it ride! I GOT EM! NEXT!

| Brilliant thread, this could run for ever. I have never tried it, but I'm sure that I could get Fonda Rae to mix into Outstanding by The Gap Band. Incidentally, for what it's worth, from Young & Co's 'up and down, up and down my spine' I'd have gone for an Adult theme and mixed into 'where'd you learn to funk like that, c'est bon' from Come On And Do It To Me by Poussez. Next DeeJay please take the turntables..... The Gap Band are starting to fade.... |

| OK Sue Ann is playing, so I'm gonna get two albums prepped up for this one back 2 back (I like doing that a lot). So now as the music is close to the end I'll throw in Taana Gardner's 'Heartbeat' dub 1st! I do the same with the 2nd one and beat juggle the intros in the beginning for a couple of minutes, then flip it to the vocal beginning (club version of course!), now the crowd is getting hype! As the song plays I'll tease both albums with a 'bang bang' effect (i.e. 'There's nothing I {do} do, anything you want {to} to. When you hold me {arms} arms, you shook my body {charms} charms, and you just don't {darn} darn {heart} heartbeat; you get it?). Now the crowd is really loving it and they're all doing the Freak! WOOHOO! Obviously I can't stop after the 2nd chorus so 'My heartbeat, fooooor the one I lo-oo-oo-oo-oo-ove! THUMP THUMP! THUMP THUMP! THUMP THUMP! BOP BADA BOOM! I gotta beat juggle a little bit more from that point, but not too much, as the next DJ is itching to slam the next track on now so I let it ride on one album with about four minutes to save the world. NEXT!

I've already created a shortcut to this page on my desktop, because I don't wanna miss anything. IMO it's way too good to miss. Let's see if we can turn Bernie Lopez on to this, I'm 200% sure he'll approve this thread as long as we don't get any knuckleheads to mess it up for us. Also, we can even incorporate some new rules as we go along, for instance, no tasteless hip hop allowed like an N.W.A. family gangsta rap, but the Sugarhill Gang family party rap is tastefully cool. Just an opinion. Keep up the good work. I'm going backstage to burn one up myself! LOL!

| I agree this thread is great. We should make some rules. I agree no hip hop. I also think we should come up with a year limit. Example nothing past 1989. I like that rule but I willing to take that bar down to nothing past 1983. That's my opinion. Since it's DJDanPooch thread he should have the final say. I think Heartbeat was left on the turntable while everyone else is smoking. I will insure the part where you hear just the heartbeat noise and drop from the beginning of Don't stop the music by Yarbrough & People (Doop doop de beeeeow |
