| Seems we are getting a little off the track here folks. You can only choose one record to mix, do not post two choices, pick one and mix it in and tell us where and when you would mix it. Since our last tune ends cold, lets restart our night with Weeks & Company "Rock Your World" YouTube - Rock your World-Weeks & Co. OJZ Who is up next to MIX? Pooch

| Disco Kid, I am very happy you like this thread and are taking part, This can be a grat thread for us and give our musical talents a place to show. BUT, what I would like everyone to do is explain where and when you would mix the next song. OK, Make That Move is the table - in the break, start mixing in ------- "I've Just Begun To Love You" from the break - when the second frame breaks, pull the mix and grab your second copy and remix from the begining. YouTube - Dynasty - I've Just Begun To Love You Pooch Who dares the next mix?

| can't keep the crowd waiting for days for the next record can we? So: YouTube - Astrud Gilberto - Beginnings "stunning groover" says whoever posted Astrud Gilberto's eight minute "Beginnings" at Youtube and this person is correct. The track continues the narrative and seques like dream out of "I've Just Begun To Love You", just cue the guitar intro after killing some of the middles of the ongoing tune. Check out the final minute of "Beginnings", talk about being ahead of time for a decade! - Originally thought of throwing on Marlena Shaw's "Sweet Beginnings" but Astrud's song is less known and as such, more interesting. |

| Oooo, Oooo, can I plaaaaayyyy??? Let's fall out of 'Beginnings' by setting up the timbales on T-Connection's 'At Midnight' from the start, fading it in as the former record plays out somewhere in its refrain (you're gonna want to play with the pitch carefully). Then, if you know the song like a champ, throw it in, like BAM! This could work even better if it was just about midnight in a club, you think? LOL! NEXT!

| LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE WORKING THE TURNTABLES HERE! FIRST, DURING THE 3 MINUTE INTRO ON "AT MIDNIGHT" GRAB YOUR COPY OF JANET JACKSON'S "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY" AND PLAY THE ACCAPELLA VERSION OVER THE INTRO AND THEN AT MIDNIGHT BREAKS. DURING THE LAST LITTLE BREAK IN AT MIDNIGHT, BRING IN THE KOOL AND THE GANG "OPEN SESAME' FROM THE LITTLE TINY BREAK NEAR THE END. NOW GRAB YOUR SECOND COPY AND DROP/SLAM OPEN SESAME FROM THE DRUM CRASH AFTER THE FIRST CHORD. COOL! COULD NOT FIND ACCAPELLA OF JANET YouTube - Janet Jackson- What Have You Done For Me Lately KOOL AND THE GANG YouTube - Open Sesame WHO WILL MIX OUT OF "OPEN SESAME"? POOCH

| If I'm allowed to come back on the tables. I would enjoy playing after Spank. Martin's Disco Circus in the middle of the 12 inch for about 2 min just so I can cue up Can I live without your love by Tamiko Jones. FYI ....I love this thread.... |

| OK at this point, so much good FAST music playing, I myself would slow it down just a little. So after Tamiko, I'm gonna set up Candi Staton's 'When You Wake Up Tomorrow', and of course I'll pitch it a bit faster since it starts up with a drum intro. A little scratching in the beginning and at the right time, BAM! Threw it in! Mix and play! Watch the crowd go "WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Enjoy! NEXT!
