| The Best Disco In The World? Obviously one that I've never been to, 'cos I can't possibly answer the question. One that I really enjoyed, 'cos I was on holiday for a whole week after a gruelling 20 straight months DJing 7 days a week was 'Pepe Moreno' in Marbella, Costa Del Sol. Good sound system for the time, not many lights, beautiful people as well as gun runners, money launderers, gold diggers, excitingly mixed music and chicken club sandwiches to die for, at 3.30 in the morning. Even though I'd left Marbella about 5 months before, I felt totally at home in that week. |

| Tough choice to make, but it's between 12 West and The Saint.

| I'm practically a foetus for this forum (29 years old!!) and would loved to have been around to check out The Saint, The Gallery, The Paradise Garage and all the other legendary discoteques in their day. For me the legendary disco for my generation was Freakazoid here in Melbourne, Australia, which was open from 1998 - 2001... the successor to Tasty, which was closed down after a police raid in '94, Freakazoid was WILD. It was the club that truly cemented my love of house, garage and disco. Internationals who played here said it was the best club they'd ever seen. Freakazoid was filthy, not straight, not gay, but a lot in between! RIP Freak! Now the legend is being carried on here by another wild disco called CHEEKY, but that's another story...
