I suppose I suspected it was a long shot at best that she'd remember John Davis ... if they had even actually crossed paths in the course of that project in the first place ....which was perhaps amongst his last (?? anybody??) ... certainly one of but a few from him in this period. Just hoping she might say ....."Oh John was so important to the song ..the way he arranged it , a perfectionist" .... or "John was a big flirt" ... or "a big pain"...."" ..... or whatever.
Its a shame that his story ... his part of the disco story ... that so little of it is known.

--- Very satisfying to read of Scherrie's fondness for the song though .
AND her unhesitant reference to it as a "disco" song ... it seems clear that at this late date ... in 1982 ....what they were intentionally creating here was indeed a "disco" tune ...

No,Thank "YOU" for submitting the question...
I must admit I had NEVER heard the track untill I started getting Supreme fever instead of just Diana fever... and I should have done research on how John Davis related to Scherrie,I figured she would certainly know who you were talking about..But this way atleast She didn't feel like the only clueless one ..
