 For fans of the original Disco 92, WKTU-FM NYC This came into my e-mail box this morning: Here's a blast from the past! For anyone living in the NEW YORK area in the late 70s, DISCO 92 was likely a button on their radio presets. Believe it or not, the WKTU call letters are 30 years old this month (JULY 24th at 6p). In it's first full book, the station broke an unheard of 11 share in NEW YORK. XM DANCE Sr. PD and PD of XMs Disco and Classic Dance channel XM 83 CHROME MIKE ABRAMS has put up a remembrance site for anyone who may remember KTU. Take a look at www.rememberdisco92.com.  |
