At this point we'd be more likely to see them reissued on vinyl. The CD, along with all physical media, is dying fast.

thanks, Jackson9, for the fun thread. Imagine -- our own wish list if we could bend the record execs' ears -- we might have better luck winning the lottery ! I would LOVE to see the Ritchie Family's AFRICAN QUEENS (1977) on cd, though many of the individual tracks are already scattered amongst R.F. compilations and other disco compilations (such as those that feature the funky, awesome Quiet Village).

There are so many albums which weren't issued on cd yet The complete work of: Costandinos John Davis And The Monster Orchestra THP Orchestra ... BTW, the last Unidisc cds I ordered, are of higher quality and look really good. Now they put a paper box around the cd cases and new cover art. Sadly, their catalogue at unidisc.com is out of date. Has anybody an updated catalogue or a link to an online-shop where to order their complete releases?

The last Unidisc ones I got were completely dynamically crushed. I'm having better luck just cleaning up my existing vinyl.

It is amazing how UNIDISC CDs are hard to find - and I'm in Montreal... My best bet is when I visit this local record store's website and type in some random name and go : "Oh it is available ???" - hard to find in stores but if you drop by and give them the # ; they will order it and have you pick it up a week later. Although every year around gay Pride celebrations in Mtl ; they will roll out EVERY disco compilations & best of they can think of to benefit from the annual "Big Disco Ball".I often see stuff I'd never see otherwise. Bought all of Patsy Gallant's CD and also a TOULOUSE compilation last year.

Yes you're right, the dynamics are kind of compressed, but still better than a noisy record.

| Is that the Taana LP with "When You Touch Me"? She has an ad-lib, buried in that track, where she says "I Got A Body Spasm". My friends and I would go all crazy-spasmodic and act-the-fools on the dancefloor when she'd say that! I think they call it "kronkin'" today.
