Barbra at the Disco

Now I know she's not a disco artiste but she did have her moments.

I'm compiling a CD for a good friend of Barbra Streisands excursions onto the dancefloor, tracks so far are:

Shake me wake me when it's over (12" mix)
Promises (12" mix)
The main event (12" disco mix)
Enough is enough (12" disco mix)
Emotions (Jellybean mix)
Promises (different re-edit by me)
Stoney end (Re-edit by me)-Not a certified disco track I know but it chugs along nicely, especially when extended.

Are there any others I don't know about from back in the day. I'm not going to include the circuit style remixes of that track from a couple of years ago on the 2nd Guilty album, I can't remember the name of it.

If anyone knows any others me and I'm sure my friend would be very grateful, or maybe there ain't any.

Hope your efforts are greatly appreciated by your friend, as I know plenty of friends of mine (& fans of Barbra) over here in the U.S. who would probably pay you good $$ for a copy of what sounds like an incredible compilation !!! Good luck with that project !

You might wanna add the Hot Tracks versions of "Enough Is Enough" & "Main Event".

LOVE BREAKDOWN [from 1978's SONGBIRD]

I AIN'T GONNA CRY TONIGHT and her disco/rock cover of SPLISH SPLASH [both from 1979's WET]

The original version of NIGHT OF MY LIFE from the GUILTY PLEASURE CD - very disco-lite as opposed to the Vasquez/L.E.X. circuit type mixes that surfaced.

and TIME MACHINE [a danceable track produced by EARTH WIND & FIRE's MAURICE WHITE] from 1984's EMOTION.
The album also includes a John Mellencamp collaboration - on the smooth and almost danceable rock called YOU'RE A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

If only Stephen, if only. These seem really hard to come by and are usually megabucks.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions I will look them out and also see if any are ripe for re-editing for the project.

Love Breakdown and Time machine will work in the context of my project. I may extend out Love Breakdown a just a little for extra disconess.

Zef, that looks very interesting...particularly your own mixes on several tracks,,,would love to hear what you did with "Stoney End" and "Love Breakdown"!!!

Could you post them like Glenn Rivera does??? Not sure how that works--in legal terms....just askin'.

I have just extended them using what is already there (chopping/looping/repeating) in the good old tradition rather than overdubs etc..
