Intresting picks..Not at all commercial.I see you obviously LOVE Poussez..I like them as well..and I LOVE that you have a song from the Prom Night sound track.
I was in heaven, Disco and a slasher movie..who could ask for more? hehe..and you have my girl Taana on there.. ..My favorite Taana song is When You Touch Me..but Work That Body still rocks.

a geek? nothing on here is commercial. I like your Taana Gardner choice.. it's hardly mentioned around here or appears on anybody's top list that's for sure.. your #3 choice by Poussez is my favorite song by them.

Thanks everyone! I like that Taana song too Dayna...I'm trying to find 202 machine rock your body on cd...no joy so far..and poussez cd still on high rotation since i received it last week. i actually messaged alphonse mouzon i found his email on his website and let him know how much i loved poussez (didn't know it is French for Push) and he wrote straight back saying he was glad I enjoyed it and he was thinking of doing some more dance stuff as he is now prominently a jazz muso. Also told him I loved "Everybody Get Down" by Mouzons Electric Band, and enquired about the 2nd Poussez album, he said it wasnt as good as successful. I feel I have little chances of finding that one, has anyone heard it? thanks for your kind comments everyone!!

Everybody get Down is one of my de facto fave disco songs. Very slick and subtle number. Mm mm mmm.

The Taana song is well chosen and is my fave by her. Really nice intro, and slow build up. her vocal is so languid and sexy.
