Default Disco mirrorball lighting

Im not sure where to put this question.
What lighting used on a mirrorball gives a great effect, is it just the standard pin lights or is there something else that any members have used.

It's pretty cut and dry..from what I have seen..
2 pinlights on each side and you can of course add color lenses..Now days most go for several Mirrorballs in different sizes on different levels..

Two,30W pin spots from oposite sides will do the job just right for small club/dancefloor. More would be better. The distance from spots to mirror ball should be at least 4 meters, otherwise the dots projected from ball would be too big - not nice... Nowadays it is good to use some powerfull robolights positioned in circle around cluster of different sized mirrorbals ( at different heights). Cycling the colors of robolights around mirrorbals would produce wery nice effect. Try ALL white - the effect is AMAZING!!!! The whole room/club will be covered with thousands of dots moving in all directions, with cluster of mirror balls glittering like diamods at the centre!
