| A great track with a great groove. I don't recall the rest of the songs on the LP having the same danceable quality. My only criticism of the 12" mix is that there's only a minute or so that is different from the 4 minute LP/single mix. They basically repeated the song, except for the first verse and chorus in the repeat, it breaks down completely do just the drums and percussion and builds back up to the song, and the same vocals in the first half of the song return for the second verse and beyond. | "Livin It Up (Saturday Night)", so this was just a mistake. I wondered if I missed this song back in da day. It's supposed to be "Livin It Up (Friday Night)"

And please don't confuse it with "Livin' It Up (Sunday Afternoon Tea Dance)". Of course this trilogy forced Patrick Adams to write Weekend. |

| As I type this I am listening to the track (no really!!)....the 12" had more 'twirly' bits then the 7" - and the break in the middle. Bell & James never struck me as a 'pure' disco act. This track was a stalwart of the disco scene in the London area BITD! |
