Celebrating his 30 years of Discomusic, Cerrone himself has written his video-bio. This is a MUST SEE for all the fans of the French-Italian Disco star! The following vids contain some very rare footage!

Thanx for that VS, most enjoyable. I do wish they'd check their facts though; 'You Are The One' LP came out at the end of 1980, not in 1982. I wonder if Marc actually plays real drums on his recent material; surely it's all done on computers nowadays isn't it?

Ahhh, yes.. Cerrone's "truth". He can rewrite it as many times, in a many ways, as he wants. As long as no one looks beneath the surface, he'll get away with it forever.

The glaring omissions, alone, made these hard to watch. (Everone's lip-syncing Kay Garner's voice, except Kay Garner. Not even a single mention of a co-collaberator.) But, sadly, it starts with a bold-faced lie. "Love In C Minor" was released on Atlantic UK, before Malligator Productions even existed. Much less, after it's French/Malligator release. Atlantic US picked it up after the Casablanca/Heart & Soul Orchestra's cover version started to climb the charts.

He's a great Promotions man. There's no doubt about that. But he's walked over, and ridden-the-backs of so many talented people to get to where he is. And dismisses giving any of them their proper credit. All ego, marginal talent and no conscience. Unfortunately, with Disco being a Producer's medium, it was inevitable that some would take full advantage of the anonymity of the genre's creative process.

That is one of the worst voice over voices I have ever heard . Bet he doesn't even know what "disco" is ....

As of December, 1976....Lil Cerrone is just about to poke his name onto the Billboard charts...first surfaces on Montreal charts in early January, 1977...then crosses over to the U.S. city charts very soon thereafter.

Interesting that even this heavily whitewashed "bio" omits all mention of his sixth album. "1982" is probably the only track Cerrone actually wrote and produced himself -- it's a 5-minute drum solo.

Recently I discovered that Cerrone is also a romancist, he wrote two books in French language.

I see all those people in the audience, its so crowded. Everyone so exuberant, waving their hands, its hard to believe its 1996 & 2005. For a second its seems like disco never died. Imagine.

In Brazil (and in the world) it's called ghost writter. I can't imagine Cerrone did it, but...
