"GetDisconnected" gone bust ..

.. rumours out of the USA are that the disco label "Get Disconnected" has gone into liquidation .. their premium E-Bay seller, also based in Florida, has closed .. US Amazon have listed the most popular CD titles as unavailable .. these include Celi Bee "Fly me on the wings of love", Debbie Jacobs "Undercover lover" and "Disco Classics" volumes 2 & 3 .. presumably the less popular titles like Sister Power & Sabu will vanish when Amazon sell their own back-stock .. let's hope this rumour prooves false .. they were 1 of the best labels ever

They still are active on MySpace and are sending around messages, so I don't know if the info you got is correct. Maybe the people from the company can come in here since they are members of this board.

In the meantime perhaps you should be careful when you order something and maybe it's better to order their cd's via Amazon like somebody said this week.

First page of their website sez all CDs are now available for purchase at CDBaby.com, and there's a release schedule through May 19th 2008.

Maybe they just gave up selling their own stock?
