[see Mark Lee thread for further explanation]

Wonder if Jacques thought of having the girls cover "I Ain't Been Licked"??????

Jocelyn's Brown's Somebody Else's Guy on Fourth & Broadway label:

A 5'46" dub version is listed, where in reality the dub version is 6'05" long.

There is one more acapella version on the same side lasting 5'17"

Yes, I couldn't stop laughing when I first saw it! It was hard to explain to my Italian friend though, whose English is not perfect.

PS - It's Darren - S is my surname initial (I wish I could change my username!)

Catch of the day:

Rock Around The Clock
from TELEX indicates 3:56 as it is 2:56 in reality.

I request a credit for the missing minute!

I have also seen a 4:56 version on Derium label but I could not confirm its accuracy...

Here's one that has personally just annoyed me...

I saw the 12" single of Gregg Diamond's "This side of midnight / Star cruiser" for sale on eBay from a local seller. The label lists "This side of midnight" as being 10:06, and "Star cruiser" as 7:17.

I already had mp3s of the Star Cruiser LP, and also a 10 minute version of "Star cruiser", and a 7 minute version of "This side of midnight". I wanted to own a 10 minute version of the latter!

So, imagine my disappointment when the 12" single arrived, and I discovered that the time listings on the label were incorrect. The duration listed on the A side were for the B side, and vice versa!
