.. wow, this project is gonna cost you a fortune .. wouldn't it be easier & far far cheaper just to burn your vast collection on to CD? I appreciate some vinyl can become damaged after 30 years of play .. why not just replace the most scratched items? You have obviously paid good money for your big vinyl collection .. why pay twice?

.. when CDs become obsolete in a few years from now, they'll invent something else .. and we'll all have to purchase everything again ..

I'm fairly sure that CDs will be the last physical method of music storage (unless you count USB sticks, DVDs, Blu-Ray disks). The future is digital, and it's obviously easy to rip CDs into a digital format.

Therefore, either rip the vinyl, or in necessary cases, buy a download. It would be good to be able to download anything from mp3 sites; certainly the vast majority of the tracks above will not be available on legal download yet. I wonder if they ever will be?

Well yes and no..I already sold all the vinyl on eBay. It was a serious collection and I made around £10,000 so I got the money.
I already ripped and burned stuff I couldn't get on cd at the time.
Obviosuly after 30+ years the quality isn't as good as I'd like it.
I've bought many many cd's already and the list I posted are some of the tracks I've yet to find on CD.
I know the future is digital but I like having a physical product.

So back to my original question..

Are any of these tracks available on CD?

Thanks
