| Just like old times! Welcome back, Blax! And I thought I was gonna beat you to a thousand posts!! :x :x Sammy – a great set I must say! Everywhere is a little slow – so soon after Xmas and the New Year! So don't worry ... First of all – you played my theme tune – Love Machine! Creative Source – a true funk classic which has to be played right through to the last note! Put Your Body In It – my favourite Stephanie Mills track! The Glow Of Love – often played but still sounds good to me! That Three Degrees track – memories of long lost childhood summers – many years ago! Crown Heights Affair – excellent dance music! Pleasure and Idris Muhammed – to keep the funk going! And a glorious ballad from Donny Hathaway! Fantastic! I really really love that one! It is sung so beautifully by Donny! I used to love Jack and Jill by Raydio – many good memories on that one! Must get round to buying it one day! Yep - a great start to the New Year – guaranteed to brush away all those cobwebs!! :D

| Blaxman and Jazzman, The Dynamic Duo, back in full effect. Just like old times I must say. :) You know, that I know some of these are personal faves of yours so as I play them you know I think of my international friends. Jazzman, I simply love that Donny Hathaway song. I hadn't played it in awhile and when I listened to it, I realized just how great it is. I'm glad you guys liked the list and I'm glad you guys are back in the groove; Especially happy to see you back Blaxman. Let's keep it this way. Easy, Sam "ALL JAM" |
