| No comments, so I gues everybody agrees... Btw, after seeing this video, I know now where Pillipe Rose from the Village People got his inspiration from....

| I don't know if this is considered disco, but I saw an old episode of Soul Train a few weeks ago in which the song was featured. So, I guess it was Don Cornelius approved anyway, and the dancers on the show appeared to have a good time dancing to it. |

| I always thought of this song as light pop rock. But I always liked it. Never heard it in a disco, but at a 70's reunion party..... |

| excellent pop record with an excellent danceable beat. I also saw the Soul Train episode. You can tell that it fit into the mix of what they were playing. |

| The Witch Queen Of New Orleans was one of their's that was played in early discos. Had a great dance beat for the time and sounded seriously different to anything else (except maybe Pacific Gas & Electric's - Are You Ready). Wouldn't consider Come & Get It Disco. |

| Redbone's Witch Queen was released waaay before Jimmy's Troglodite, so I can't figure how Trog was the first. |

| No, what I was trying to say was that Redbone was indeed a very special (for me) poprecord that got me hooked. The earliest real Funk (maybe not so Disco) that I can recall was Troglodyte. That was some new sound on the funfairs over here (I'm not speaking about Discos coz in 1972 I was way too young (9) to go to clubs). Just checked with my cousin who is about your age and he confirms this: Jimmy Castor was something else. That was a sound we weren't used to BITD, in Belgium, where even pop on the radio was rare |

| Come and Get Your Love is/was an awesome pop song. I wouldn't call it disco but it's one in my collection I still listen to from time to time.
