Quite the opposite of a yelling spouse hitting the roof everyday, this year I didn't get tired of hearing the Poussez girls telling me to Come On And Do It and asking me for where I'd learn to funk it like that (with all the screaming, and moaning, and groaning, and sighing, and the whooping, and the....) I'll never say goodbye to them! Now I'm taking up Slick and it seems Space Bass will stay for quite a while next year.

My favourite record of 2007 would have to be one of those many cuts off the Remember The Party 5 cd set that I had never heard before.....either All Day All Night by Margaret Reynolds or How High by the Salsoul Orchestra.

Hey everybody! I hope you all are having a great holiday. I thought I would stick my 2 cents in and echo Discokicks in agreeing that the latest RTP re-introduced me to a long lost love Rozlyn Woods track "Whatcha Gonna Do About It"-one of the last great old school "traditional" disco tracks. And discovering the long mix of Jimmy Ruffin's "Tell Me What You Want" was like finding a sparkling diamond in an old pair of jeans-thankyou disco gods! And Lary Sanders edits of The Reflections "Three Steps From True Love" and Sister Sledge's "Love Don't You Go Through No Changes" made my eyes water and my heart race-thankyou Lary. Thom

| This year I had a Diana Ross thing going on. The Boss was the song I played the most. It showed up on more of my car compilations than any other.

Dj booths: Syncophonic Orchestra's "Columbia suite" - or, is it Frederic Mercier's "Station 317", an instantly addictive, bubbling, incredibly happy synth track from the "Pacific" album? Private apartment: no doubt about it, the Jean Kluger production "Spring" by The Philharmonics.

Looking at the statistics in JR Media Center in my computer gives me the most played songs 2007 1. King Errison - Sal Soul Sister (rediscovered this song this year) 2. Diana Ross - The Boss (12inch) (One of the most played last year and every year) 3. Stargard - What You're waiting for (album version) (I'm a big Norman Whitfield fan)
