Default The UNICEF concert, 1979

Do you remember this? I saw it on black & white TV back then and all I remember are E,W&F doing two segued songs and Rod Stewart being nasty. I mean, the day after that everybody in my country was saying "who is that weird guy? Is he gay?" and "Do ya think I'm sexy?" went No. 1 in a bang.
Anyway, I bought the LP yesterday which also was a big seller in my country (so now it's fairly cheap). The title is "The Music for UNICEF Concert - A gift of song" (46.26) and here's the complete tracklist:

Side A
-(Intro by David Frost)
-EARTH, WIND & FIRE - September/That's the way of the world
-(Intro by The Bee Gees)
-ANDY GIBB - I go for you
-DONNA SUMMER - Mimi's song (incredibly, I don't remember Donna being here)
-(Intro by David Frost)
-ANDY GIBB & OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN - Rest your love on me
-(Intro by Gilda Radner)
-ABBA - Chiquitita ("Chiquitita dime por qué...")

Side B
-(Intro by Henry Winkler)
-ROD STEWART - Do ya think I'm sexy? (very good version)
-(Intro by David Frost)
-OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN - The key
-JOHN DENVER - Rhymes & reasons
-KRIS KRISTOFFERSON & RITA COOLIDGE - Fallen angels
-(Intro by David Frost)
-THE BEE GEES - Too much heaven (yeeeachhh!)

The concert took place on the hall of the ONU building, I guess it's in NY, on January 9, 1979. David Frost & Robert Stigwood were the executive producers. There was a nice cartoon drawing of the artists on the cover, over a white background.
Do you remember this, or the show? Was it a sensation in your country too?
