I've never seen or heard of it. But it has to be after 1981, because it refers to Joan Collins and Dynasty. And Dynasty did not come on till '81.

I think The Bitch came out in '78 or '79 because that's when the Olympic Runners released their song of the same name for the film. That poster ad is not in English, so my guess is that after Joan Collins became more well known for Dynasty, they re-released the film in that country to cash in on her new celebrity status. It's weird, though, the poster doesn't mention the Olympic Runners music. I've never seen the film The Bitch. Did it have songs by those other artists on the poster in it? Disco Funk

So where are the musical acts that are listed on the poster? No Tina Charles? Or Bee Gees? Not even David Soul? Ain't that a bitch?

That's right San and "The Stud" soundtrack indeed has the artists that are featured on the poster + Oliver Tobias was not in "The Bitch". I think Disco Funk is right and that this is a re-release cashing in on the Dynasty fame of La Collins. I think it's solved, so thx everybody!

I just checked out IMDB. I had no idea that the two films were related. Joan Collins plays the same character in both. And according to it, Oliver Tobias definitely was in The Stud but not in The Bitch. Disco Funk

You can enjoy the whole wild Bitch-Stud experience again and again on region 2 double bill dvd. The dancing seen during the low rent disco scenes is worse than anything in any of the Italian Saturday Night Fever ripoffs, including John Traviolto Da Un Insolito Destino ( starring Ilona "Cicciolina" Staller), the flesh seen in the sex scenes horribly flabby and the dialoque great. Fab entertainment.

This is a Spanish language poster for 1978 "The Stud", where "Joan Collins plays the owner of The Hobo nighclub in this lusty drama. She hires the handsome Tony to manage the disco, and take care of her nymphomanic tendencies." LP of the film includes Hot Chocolate Every 1s A Winner, Samantha Sang Emotion (written by Barry and Robin Gibb), Real Thing Let's Go Disco, Baccara Sorry I'm A Lady, Odyssey Native New Yorker, Linda Lewis It's Good, Rose Royce Car Wash & El Coco Cocomotion. I didn't watch the movie but I know some consider it trash.

Gott in himmel, this brings back memories of the horrors of British Disco dancing in films and TV in the late 70's ! Actually it brings back memories of how crap the UK film industry was at that time too. I love a bit of kitch but there are limits ! As an aside, The Drifters 'Pour Your Little Heart Out' was picked up and played on the Northern Soul scene recently...mostly I think because its pretty scarce on a 45.
