ive asked BERNIE if i can start a memorabelia topic for all to share any memorabelia you own, if we can impress bernie he may make it a sticky,i wasnt sure to start it here or in rare grooves as i think it would be nice to include as well as disco some soul/motown stuff, hey its all related so get scanning as ive heard its not easy to impress bernie

first from me a handfull of trade flyers handed to shops back in the day with release dates etc, look carefully as some state the quantities of 12" singles pressed.....

heres how this started life i think i worked it out once it was a whole 10 months before the u.s got it, released in the u.k oct 22nd 1976..not sure about billie jo spears though

Nice work and a trip back in time... Great items!!! Thank you for posting these.

I'm sure others will dig up things and scan and then post them here. This may very well become a sticky.

One small note: I redid your pics as attachments to the post instead of linking because the links will ultimately expire whereas attachments will stay with your post forever. Just click the paper clip icon in the editor and you can upload up to five pics per post. Thanks again.

And from the 1980 Mad Magazine special Disco edition, some panels of the Guide To Some Very Obscure Sounds:

Disco Disk THESE ARE SO GREAT !....please keep them coming !

I always associate sheet music with the piano in my grandparents front room. I'd like to have heard my Grandmother bashing out "Dr Love" !
