There hasn't been any other disco artist inducted yet? Like the Trammps?!

I think Chic should get in first because they did so much work for other people in addition to themselves. And it would be a nice tribute to the late Bernard Edwards.

I see Leonard Cohen's on the list; he must one of the few 'rock' artists never to have had a stab at the disco genre; is he? Someone's about to tell me otherwise I bet...surely not....

MADONNA
JOHN MELLENCAMP
LEONARD COHEN
THE VENTURES
THE DAVE CLARK FIVE

They re-nominate the acts that didn't get the final 5 nod, so Donna Summer and Chic will no doubt get in the final 5 someday...hey, The Dave Clark Five [ U.S. hits from 1964-1967] & The Ventures [U.S. hits from 1960-1969] finally made it!!!!
