Default TWIGGY 1979: "Discotheque" Heard it?

A die-hard Donna Summer fan just mailed me this link:

TWIGGY - HEAVEN IN MY EYES

Has anyone heard this -- apparently -- just-released Twiggy album from 1979?

Anybody got any inside scoop on it?

THANKS!

[I tried searching for "Twiggy" in this section, and didn't find any significant information about the recording. However, if this has been discussed before and I simply didn't find the conversation, please forgive the redundancy.]

Sounds really interesting! I am dying to hear it. Wonder if Amazon will carry it.

Many details are provided on a Donna Summer forum ;

Some details :
-the album was recorded in the fall of 1979. 8 tracks were done.
-Donna & Juergen Koppers co-produced.
-Elton Ahi is also involved.
-Some rock-oriented disco + 2 country songs.
-Michael Bolton can be found singing b.vox.
-Bruce Sudano wrote 2 songs [LOVER BOY rock oriented] + [SUGAR DADDY ballad]
-Apparently the standout track is MY BABY DON'T CALL ME BABY and it was written by Pete Bellote & Thor Baldursson. Many people wonder why Donna didn't record it herself.

-Title song HEAVEN IN MY EYES - quite explicit lyrics about promiscuity...

Wow.. This was an unexpected surprise! Not just the fact that it's being released, but that Donna Summer and some of the Munich Machine/Moroder associates actually did (and evidently completed) a record with Twiggy..

I'll probably end up buying this one soon, although I really wish they had some sound samples up.. With all the names involved, it certainly sounds promising. I hope the liner notes (if there are any) will reveal a bit more about the history of this project..

Thanks for the details, guys!

I'm SOO excited to hear this--I always thought it was kinda a rumour. Does that mean the full album Sunshine Donna co produced for her sisters exists?

So now the album is here and Amazon has samples, brief as they are. Judging from the snippets, it isn't that good of an album. Not even very disco for the most part. What's amazing is that a pool of people with so much talent couldn't make something wonderful out of this. Sad to say that sometimes a committee reduces a creative product to the lowest level of achievement. The vision gets muddled and overcompromised. I see why the record did not get released in '79.

I'd be interested in it for curiousity sake and because of who was involved.

I bought it, played it once and put it aside. Not special in my opinion at all and, as has been said, considering who was involved, I did expect a lot more. Nothing disco on there which is surprising considering "discotheque" is in the title.
