| Have the two 3 Degrees albums done by Moroder, New Dimension and 3D been ever released to CD? They are two of my all time fave disco albums and it would be great to have them on disc--maybe with the 12" and bsides... Compared to some disco artists, the Degrees were quite known and mainstream and it always strikes me as odd that they haven't... I do have One budget release from the UK on the Camden label that seemed the best place to get what I could--it has ALL the Moroder trakcs excepting Looking for Love but including both bsides he did (and a fun bside, The Golden Lady, he didn't do as well as three unrelated live tracks). the frustration si they're shuffled in a weird order, all the medleys are broken up and most of the tracks are their short single edits... It just seems like a digital transfer for Three Degerees is long overdo... E |

| I wish both albums would come out on CD with added extras. Both albums are top-notch eurodisco and it was quite a superstar pairing. But a lot of Moroder's stuff is hard to find. What about a box set with all of his productions gathered together. SUZI LANE,CHRIS BENNETT,THE SYLVERS,MADLEEN KANE,ROBERTA KELLY,JAPAN,BLONDIE,CHER,MUNICH MACHINE... That would satisfy the Giorgio fans out there...

| He really deserves a box set--though the fact that he worked for some big names and several labels might make that hard... It's funny he doesn't seem, like Costandinos, too reticient to lease out his tracks, yet considering how beloved lots of his stuff is it's quite hard to find on CD (although VERY easy fto find on vinyl in my experience compared to lotsa eurodisco). I could do without the Sylvers--it's cute but like Munich Machine Body Shine I don't even think he had much to do with it at all... But everything else I agree with. I do have all of Roberta Kelly on CD--I managed to get one of the Europe two fers CDs with the first two albums on Castle Label--descent sound. They released the first two Munich Machine albums and Knights in White aroudn the same time but seem to have pressed very few copies, though I have those on vinyl of course. the thrid Roberta gospel disco album, that Bob Esty did a huge part of, was remastered very well and release din 1990 on a Christian label. I found two sealed copies in the late 90s--and just saw on Amazon that it now goes for 190 dollars and up--I only opened one so I might try to sell my other copy though I doubt it's a CD that goes all that often. Back to 3 Degrees--for the first album were there two different pressings? I have the Ariola US pressing which has the medley of Givin Up/Looking for Love and then a break and then Falling in Love on Side A. I swear I once heard an mp3 (that I can no longer find) of all three songs linked together with Looking for Love last--and on the fade out on my vinyl you can hear that it sounds like it easily could fade from Falling In Love to Looking for Love at the end... Or am I just imaginign things? I know on 3D only the first two tracks on Side A were linked--Jump the Gun and the divine and underated Red Light. E |

1. Giving up, giving in (6:07) 2. Falling in love again (5:34) 3. Looking for love (5:26) The three songs are joined together, the total length I make as 17:09. And you are right that only Jump the gun / Red light are mixed together on my copy of the follow-up "3D" LP.

| Does anyone remember that great Disconet mix of the Three Degrees "Bodycheck" cut up with "He's Just A Runaway" by Sister Sledge? This used to get the place jumpin' at Studio One in Los Angeles. Thom |
