| haven't already ....... and then perhaps be moved to a tear as used in the movie SABRINA (Humphrey Bogart and Audrey Hepburn) the song first written and made famous by "The Sparrow" Edith Piaf Cindy Lauper : LA VIE EN ROSE (LIFE IN PINK) Hold me close and hold me fast. This magic spell you cast; this is la vie en rose. When you kiss me, heaven sighs. And though I close my eyes I see la vie en rose. When you press me to your heart, I'm in a world apart. A world where roses bloom. And when you speak, angels sing from above. Everyday words seem to turn into love songs. Give your heart and soul to me. Babe, it's gonna be La vie en rose. Mmm, when you press me to your heart, I'm in a world apart. A world where roses bloom. And when you speak, angels sing from above. Everyday words seem to turn into love songs. Give your heart, your soul to me. Babe, it's gonna be La vie en rose. La Vie En Rose ******

| Dayna, is that Lady Miss Kier on that pic? Now, can I be critical and say that I never liked "La Vie En Rose" that much! And I never liked Piaf BTW! IMO she had much better Disco tracks: And this is the GRACE that I adore: the DiscoDubReggae Diva! But if you persist:

| Watching the video of Grace singing "La Vie..." live confirmed what I have thought after I saw her live the first time (in the late 80's) - that she is actually a much better singer (more soulful and emotive) than is evident on her recordings. Don't get me wrong, I love all her music, but it seems that she was maybe held back by producers and/or record companies in order to highlight her image over her vocal talents. Of course, her image was an art form in itself and much more inspiring than what is presented now by most recording artists. |

| I agree discopsycho. I love Grace and all her of recordings as they are, but the times I've seen her live I have also been struck by how good her voice actually is, just that bit more soulful. |
