I keep forgetting to mention this, but did you know that Ashford & Simpson have a restaurant here in New York City?

I ate there some time ago, and Ashford & Simpson were there hosting. The food was very good.

I had been meaning to mention it before, and was walking by it today and wrote a reminder to inform the discomusic.com family.

So if you're visiting NYC, put them on your itinerary.

When Nick and Val do something it's always top notch..It's also a wonderful club and you will rub elbows with many old school Divas and Artists..

When we were in NYC 2 years ago (we stayed in that upper west side area) we stood outside their restaurant & decided not to go in as it looked like some kinda party was going on; I wish I'd gone in now. I always do this: get to a restaurant & decide I want to go somewhere else. I did it at Cafe Luxembourg too.

Today I bought an unopened copy of Ashford & Simpson Performance, a 2 lp live performance with some studio stuff on side 4.

Anybody know this album? I'm going to listen to it in the coming week or two, but would like to hear your thoughts on it.
