Default British "Philly Sound" records

I was wondering if there were any British records from the early days of disco that copied the Philly sound? (similar to Harold Melvin, Sons of Robin Stone, etc.)

Strictly speaking Tommy Hunt was American, x member of the Flamingos who also recorded on Wand. One of the better UK 70's groups where Delegation who had 3 or 4 good releases. I also remember a First Choice cover - "Guilty" by the Pearls.
