We all know that different City's,Clubs and Dj's have and play their favorite songs.Which songs did you KNOW you were going to hear at your club/Disco of choice ?...Either working there , or dancing there.
at my club The 10 that were a GIVEN were
1-Supernature-Cerrone
2-Rough Diamond-Madleen Kane
3-Shame-Evelyn King
4-Get Off -Foxy
5-In The Bush-Musique
6-You and I -Rick James
7-Boogie oogie oogie-A Taste of Honey
8-I feel Love-D. Summer
9-Le Freak-Chic
10-Miami Heatwave-Seventh Avenue

Heart to Break the Heart - France Joli
Walk the Night - Skatt Brothers
Deputy of Love - Don Armando's 2nd Ave band
Vertigo/Relight My fire - Dan Hartman
Dancer - Gino Soccio
Behind the Groove - Teena Marie
I'm Ready - Kano
Born to Be Alive - Patrick Hernandez
erotic city - prince
Mandolay - LaFlavour

and if i had to pick a rap song, The Breaks - kurtis blow


though if i sent this out tomorrow, i would have some different choices i am sure

OMG.. I LOVE "Deputy Of Love"..the only time our Dj played it was during the drag show,it was one of our entertainers favorite songs to lipsinc to..and "I'm Ready" by Kano.. Pure Genius.. I would throw down my tray even if it had drinks on it and hit the floor when that song came on..Maximum Danceability~!! Skatt Brothers lol..sounds depraved..I will have to check them out.

Walk the night just seemed to always grab me.

I used to love to combine Vertigo/relight my fire with papa don't preach...

I also still pull out Uptown Festival by Shalamar... it still packs them in

Picking just 10 is very hard... I would have to put Suzi Lane's Harmony up there as well.

It is amazing how many times, i scan my song titles and say, geez, i loved that song and i have not thought about it in years...
