| Oh dear! We're really scraping the barrel with this, aren't we? About as lame as Disco gets, made by someone who had NO RIGHT to even go there! If anything gave Disco a bad name, this, and other would be 'cash-in merchants', were it. |

| Q, really if you (of all persons) would have liked this, I would have joined the Dalai Lama movement! This really is the sort of Disco we stupid Europeans (you are not a European, remember that, you're British) can enjoy at the right time and place. This is classy muzak, nothing more, nothing less! And I do like the Ray Conniff singers, even their more traditional stuff! And always that "Oeew, thisj gives Disjco eeee baaad neem!" Ayatollah kinda bull, makes me laugh! Thank you for that coz' laughing is very healthy! ![]() Maybe is the climate in England that causes this Narrowminditis syndrom, so we can not blame you personally for this! BTW, I'm a little bit p*ssed at you! Now that you had the chance to meet a great Belgian redneck, you refused! I drive all those miles to get a big NO???? BTW2, you have a pretty little house there FREE YOUR MIND AND YOUR ASS WILL FOLLOW! |

| VideoSkooter mah son. I could have met ya, I would have met ya, I should have met ya.........but you were only passing through weren't you? I'm sorry, but disliking this toon has nothing to do with being non-European. Just listen to it and it sounds like a real stiffy to me. There's simply NO swing to it....an indisputable sign of a lack of understanding by the musicians who made it. It's just as bad when classically inspired musos think they can play Jazz. They're SOOOOO SQUARE man!! Any Jazz lover just laughs at 'em and any true Disco lover should laugh at this track too. |

| Yes, but again, that's the campy side of Disco. I can enjoy that, you can't. Of course if I go to a club, I don't want to listen to this, that's for sure. But at home, absolutely! |

| I doubt it Srg! Annunzio Mantovani passed away in 1980, one can say during the ending of the Disco-era! Here's a list of albums he made in the 70's and I doubt it very much that the tracks on those albums, let's say from 1975-1980 are Discofied. He was a maestro of light popular music and mostly covered the classics of Broadway, Strauss, Cole Porter and others. I don't think he jumped on the Discobandwagon. Maybe he would have done great with his trademark magical violins. Fan Web Site Now, if you're into such orchestral Disco, then you better check out Caravelli! He and his Orchestra sure did Disco-covers! And Bernie's idol JAMES LAST, of course! |

| Thanks Videoskooter for the tip! I've never heard of Caravelli but the (internet) search has begun! I had my doubts about Mantovani trying disco on but I think he would've made some superbly lush orchestral disco had he tried...

| OK - I have to side with Quinny - that is pretty bad. Let's be honest though, if you want cheesy disco just pick up some of the MFSB or Salsoul Orchestra albums. Among their great tracks that I love to death, there are also some real sleezers...
