Exclamation Eurosong 2007: Belgium Goes DISCO!

The Eurovision Songcontest 2007, 1 of the hippest televised shows in the galaxy will take place the 10th of May 2007 in Helsinki/Finland!

And the big newz came in today: taratarataraaaaaaa! Belgium goes Disco! We are sending the excellent band: The KMG's (The Krazy Mess Groovers) who's music is influenced by EWF, Roy Ayers, Herbie Hancock, The Jacksons and other 70's glories.

So, Jussi, you will support them, you will tell all your fellow countrymen about 'em and you will let them win. This is not a request, it's an order! You own the whole of Europe after last year's Lordi-scandal!

If you want to hear this excellent band:

If you want to support 'em: www.myspace.com/thekmgs

This is the song we are sending in:

I will do everything you ordered me to do, will be there to wash the feet of the band members when they arrive. It's a great band and they deserve to win and win they will.

But unfortunately, if you thought Lordi was bad wait until you hear Miss Hanna - this woman is a winner of our Idols contest and is an actual truck driver. So it'll be nul points for Finland, just like so many times before. With contestants like lordi and now hanna we deserve it.

Being a democratic country the population get to choose who we send! As the British don't take this competition seriously, everyone usually votes for the absolute worse song/act - in the hope that it loses.

What's so funny about it is that it's got nothing to do with talent or songwriting - just which country has least offended everyone else! With UK backing the US over Iraq our chances are null points!!

Jeremy "Vroom Vroom" Clarkson??????

Headlamp, that's the whole problem with it. Everybody wants to be nice to his neighbours. This has become a political contest!

BTW, I like Belgium's pick but....The KMG's have chosen a very poppy discotrack. If you visit their My Space page, you can hear a few songs that are really slammin'! Very good live band too!

This was Belgian's best entry so far:1973

Nicole & Hugo
Disco avant la lettre! Camp to da maxx! They are still massive over here in Belgian gay clubs.

I bet noone cares about that anymore. The only problem of the UK is that it won't split into England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland to enable some brotherly neighbour voting.

Now that I'm thinking about it, German reunification wasn't a good idea in hindsight.
